Here's Calvin's version of Godzilla. He's been watching the movie recently – mostly the scary bits – and is making the model. He still wants to do some work on it's back – apparently he should have wee fins or something, so it's not quite finished yet.
Following on from making Pumba the other day, Calvin has decided to make a more life like warthog. He used his Lion King extras DVD for his reference and is making a pretty good job of his new model.
Calvin made this model of Pumba from The Lion King out of a wee blob of blu-tac whilst we were out visiting my mum at the weekend. Pretty sweet as he didn't have any reference other than the zillions of times he's seen the movie still whirring about in his head.
Here's Calvin's Bitzer. He's the dog from Aardman's Shaun the Sheep. Calvin has entered it into a competition on the Shaun website and also the Wallace and Gromit site too.
The model he's made even has a tiny wee clip board with a picture of a sheep on it and he's got a pencil in his other hand.
Calvin recently won a prize on the Shaun the Sheep website. He made a cool Shaun that I uploaded for him and he won a signed Aardman certificate, a Shaun DVD and got a really nice wee note complimenting him on his models that are on this blog. He's delighted and has now mounted them and hung them on his wall in his bedroom.
He's now made a Bitzer (the dog from Shaun the Sheep) that he wants to enter in another competition. I'll upload pics when he's finished.
Well, it doesn't get much more basic than this. Whilst changing a light bulb in Calvin's room he spotted that a bulb looks not unlike the glass dome around the space aliens Kang & Kodos in the Simpsons. Clever.
Calvin has been making the aliens who Bart and Homer fight in the game. As well as Kang and Kodos there's a bunch of other aliens they battle and here's what's been modelled.
