Calvin's inspiration

Here's a picture of toys Calvin's collected along the way. Lots of presents and pocket money.

His collection includes Ben 10, Simpsons, Lion King, Disney Cars, King Kong, Godzilla, Family Guy and Toy Story.

Family Guy chicken

Calvin is making the chicken from Family Guy. He's the character that usually rolls around on the floor with Peter Griffin whilst punching lumps out of each other.

He's made it from rolled up news paper, glue, silver paper and masking tape.

Not sure when he'll finish it but it's a pretty good start.

Toy Story

Our local shops are starting to stock up on Toy Story items so Calvin decided to make some miniature figures last night - Mr Potato Head, Hamm and Wheezy.

I've put a Euro coin at the side so you can see just how small they are. He's making Mrs Potato Head tonight I think. I hope she's brought Mr Potato Head's angry eyes!

Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus

Calvin made this when staying at his Gran and Granddad's house over the weekend. He took the picture himself.

The model is out in Livingston so I'll try and take a photograph the next time I'm out there.

Family Guy chicken

Calvin was staying at his Gran's this weekend and, whilst tidying his room, I found the chicken from Family Guy. You know, the one Peter Griffin is always having an enormous fight with.

Any way, he's got bits of fluff and things on him as he was laying in amongst other bits and bobs so he's a bit hairy. But he's still pretty cool.

Pumba, the warthog in Disney's Lion King, is a favourite character of Calvins. He might not finish this one but it still looks great as it is.

King Kong (again)

Calvin is now making a version that sees Kong standing on top of the Empire State building, throwing punches at passing planes trying to shoot him.

King Kong

Here's a start to finish of King Kong. Calvin is right into King Kong and Godzilla at the moment.

Anyway, he made this Kong the other day and it's brilliant, even if I say so myself.
