Busy busy!
Working hard producing lots of different linocut prints. I'm hoping to produce a large range of these – different buildings, views and structures from all around Scotland.
The ones that I've done are available on my Etsy shop and please keep coming back as they will be updated regularly.

Cockenzie Power Station linocut print
Not much time left for Cockenzie Power Station. I'm going to miss it. It's been on the coastline all my life and I always know I'm not far from home when those two iconic towers appear whilst driving up the A1. Here's my representation of this beautiful big square hunk.
Prints are available in blue and red and can be bought through my Etsy shop.

The Bass Rock
I've completed a linocut of the beautiful Bass Rock in East Lothian. Sitting just off the coastal town of North Berwick, this is a particularly loved print as it's one of my favourite places to visit.
It can be purchased through my Esty shop.

Codling
Calvin decided that he wanted to make a codling tonight. I managed to get some shots of it just before he put the fins on and also just as he finished it.
It'll now take three weeks to dry before it's first trip in the kiln. Then, if all goes well with the bisque firing, he's going to try and choose an appropriate glaze for the final firing.

Penguins and Westies
Calvin has started making more of his small penguins – which are proving really popular – and now a pack of miniature West Highland terriers. The dogs look really stylised and slick and will be sweet when glazed.

Welcome to Edinburgh
After trying out a new technique to get this brilliant speckled black
and white glaze, the final result is fantastic. Titled Edinburgh's
Panda, Calvin has shown the two main cultural highlights in Edinburgh –
the pandas at Edinburgh zoo and Krispy Kreme!

Iceberg melts away
On a day of good news, Calvin has been comissioned to create a Scottie dog by a collector and, also, another artist visited The Gallery on the Corner last week and bought Calvin's Iceberg and Penguins. Great stuff!

Sculpting accurate toy characters
Calvin, having watched a brilliant movie on toy sculpting the night before, is trying accurate character modelling for the first time. Here is his Hulk head which, he said, will be followed by more.
