Gorilla cards and envelope

As well as the English Bull Terrier cards, a while back Calvin helped produce some gorilla cards that I forgot to put on his blog. They are available in red, green, purple and dark blue. They are £3.00 each and come with an envelope. Contact me through this site if you'd like some.

English Bull Terrier cards

Calvin has produced a limited run on English Bull Terrier cards in four colours (Dark Blue, Magenta, Turquoise and Violet) which are now on sale. Contact me through this website if you'd like to purchase any – they are £3.00 each with envelope.

The dog comes from the recently sold sculpture of the Chav gorilla holding back the dog from attacking.

Red necklace

As well as the blue jewellery, Calvin made a red set of necklaces and bracelets.

Chav Gorilla

Calvin has finished and glazed his Chav Gorilla. He's got his bright blue baseball cap, fat gold rope, can of lager and his bull terrier straining to rip your insides out.

Working on a commission

Calvin has been working on a commission recently which is quite exciting for him. A lady seen the website and got in contact with him to ask if he could make a sculpture for her.

It'll be finished in a few weeks — it's drying right now —and then I'll put some pictures online of it.

Collector in New York buys a gorilla

Great news! An art collector from New York has spotted one of Calvin's sculptures on the internet and has bought it from The Gallery on the Corner.

Well done to Paul and Robin at the gallery for helping with the sale and especially well done to Calvin for being so creative. Well done son.

Troop of Gorillas

Calvin has a troop of gorillas in the house at the moment that are at different stages. Some are still needing their first firing, some have been fired but need glazing and fired and some are finished completed and about to be taken up to the gallery.

Chav Gorilla

The other week Calvin made a chav gorilla complete with peaked baseball cap, gold chain, can of lager and, of course, a bull terrier.

He's waiting for the clay to dry before firing them and then glazing.

Another day, another gorilla!

Calvin is making this one for his art teacher. He's leaving high school next week for the final time and wants to give her this as a present.

Calvin started a new sculpture today. It's bigger than the previous gorilla and he's added a bit more character. It's a huge gorilla enjoying a doughnut for lunch!

Finished Gorilla

Calvin finished the gorilla last night. Looks pretty impressive considering it's his first one made from clay. Need to wait for it to dry out before it can be fired in a kiln.
