Gorilla bust
Calvin has started to make a large Gorilla bust. This is the first really large item he's made so fingers crossed it goes well.

Swordfish wall plaque
Calvin designed a wee wall plaque of a swordfish and used it to practice different coloured finishes.
Elephant
Here's the finished elephant in an oily black glaze. It will be auctioned by Scotland Yard on the 31st May.
Lazy Leopard
Calvin's been trying different finishes and glazes. Here he decided to keep the tree mat but glaze the leopard in a yellow and black varnish.
Glazed Gorilla
Calvin has finished his gorilla. It's now been fired, glazed and then fired again. He chose a black and gold finish. Somebody, on a trip to the studio Calvin was working in, has already bought the gorilla before it was even finished!
Well done Calvin!

Charity Auction
Here's a couple of pieces Calvin has made for a charity auction at The Yard coming up in April. It's his first attempt using glaze on his clay. The elephant has turned out a brilliant metallic black.
